Mamour, an established economist and banker, has served as Governor of the Central Bank of The Gambia, Permanent Secretary of several ministries, and Executive Director of the Islamic Development Bank in Saudi Arabia. He founded the Arab Gambian Islamic Bank and served as its first Managing Director, established The Gambia Bankers Association, set up the Institute of Bankers of The Gambia, and was Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Gambia Revenue Authority.

Mamour is passionate about helping African financial institutions achieve financial discipline and enhance their revenue performance.
